Butterfly Pea Flower Tea 🦋

Stir 1 teaspoon of butterfly pea flower powder into 1 cup of hot water and allow to cool. Fill a pitcher with cold water, and the juice of 1 lemon. Add the cooled butterfly pea flower tea mixture to the pitcher, and stir to combine (don’t forget to ooh and ahh while watching the color change). Add ice, lemon slices, and herb garnish to serve (optional).

Can we use egg life wraps
I just completed the 30 day detox program and am now in the process of adding things back ...one at a time. In the interim, my Dr. conducted blood tests for food sensitivities. So I already know what my triggers are...which those alone really shocked me. I am still completing this program as I committed to do and it is giving me a whole new look into how my food has been affecting me. I am even adding back intentionally but temporarily the items I tested as being sensitive to them. I bought 2 of your whole 30 cookbooks prior to beginning this program and they have been very helpful other than my dr amended my program to eliminate even more items than whole 30 does. I sure wish I had found this vlog before I started this process. So much has changed since this started. The way I plan meals, the way I shop, the way I prep, etc. This has been a very expensive process not only in money, but in time for EVERYTHING. I have always been a shopper who never buys unless it is on sale. None of these items were on sale....the cost of products with LESS items that cost much more than regular and store brands. It has forced me to make my own everything...condiments especially, because it was way less expensive to make them....but so time consuming. I took my own food with me when we had to travel. Cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, chomps, celery and a few kinds of nuts and seeds I can have became my goto foods. I now need to binge watch the rest if your vlog to help me re-enter a new normal world. I am now diagnosed as needing to eat gluten-free and dairy free and I still need to continue sugar-free to support my gut healing journey and weight-loss goals. This has been hard, very hard, eye opening, life changing...and I am so glad I have done this. I still need help... keep me in your prayers.

Thanks for the video Melissa. You are an exceptional communicator and this video is very focused and to the point. I'm on day 9 of The Whole30 primarily to see if it helps joint pains associated with SLE (Lupus arthritis) and general healthy aging. In the process I am becoming more intentional about what and why I am eating. I purchased The Whole30 audiobook through Audible. I'm a 60 y.o. male who works night shift as an RN supervisor at a Rehab and LTC healthcare facility. Third shift work has it's own set of effects on sleeping patterns and inflammatory processes ( I think). I also live with my wife and son (supportive of my 30 day experiment) that are not following a specific nutritional protocol, so the fridge is filled with sugary soft drinks, dairy, bread, and many UPFs (ultra-processed foods) in addition to my approved foods. So far I'm doing good at avoiding the comfort foods and drinks I would normally reach for and the vending area at work as well as the food pushers...(you've just got to try this). I have not been keeping a food diary, but will start today. I have the nagging feeling that I might be missing out on good info such as what and when I eat and how close to bed time or exercise sessions I am doing this. Yes I am interested in losing weight, but that's not my goal for this trial. If I was able to be fat and happy without other issues such as: pain, itching, digestive issues, energy, mental focus, etc. then I wouldn't be trying this. Thanks again, Tim Carpenter

Great question! INGREDIENTS: 2 medium rutabagas or 1 large rutabaga (about 1.5 pounds) 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp tried oregano, crushed 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
Nah, the microwave is the way to go. It vibrates the water in the egg, meaning it boils itself on the inside! No dishwashing required! Do it!

I’m currently on Day 3. I am going through some serious detox symptoms. Stomach is hurting, feeling nauseous. I did a 48-hour fast before I started. This is my third time doing Whole30. When I did it 3 months ago, it took forever for me to feel better. I probably didn’t feel my best until about Day 15. Hopefully I feel better sooner this time.
At what temp and for how long?
INSTRUCTIONS: START with room temperature eggs PREHEAT you air fryer to 275°F PLACE eggs in the basket of your air fryer and cook for 10-11 minutes (I find that 11 minutes is the perfect texture for me!) TRANSFER eggs into an ice bath for at least 5 minutes, and then peel the eggs. ADD salt to your heart’s desire and
Boiling eggs is faster by at least 5 mins. boil for 7 min. ice bath for 3 min.
Put them in the microwave, that’s the fastest way of them all. You don’t even have to wash any dishes!
